New haircut

So here is the problem, I love going to get my hair done by my cousins wife, Jaada. She does a great job. But she is usually booked out 3 or months in advanced. So the last several times I have had to go somewhere else. No one does my hair quite like Jaada, and the part I like is that I just say, "Do what ever you want" and I trust her to do a good job. I can't get anyone else to do that. So I keep going from person to person trying to find a "Jaada". Last night I went to a new girl and I told her to just trim my hair. She told me that my hair need at least two or three inches cut off. That was fine with me, my hair was getting really yucky. Then she says, but that would be the wrong length for you, it would make you look "boxy", let's cut up to your collar bones. I thought O.K. but if I am going short again I want Jaada to do it, not someone I don't know. This could be scary. As she was cutting she just kept saying,"Is it ok if I go a little shorter?," as she was already in the process of cutting it shorter. So here I am with short hair again. It is hard to get used to. I can't decide whether to be frustrated or not, after all, I have been looking for someone who will just go for it, and give me a cute haircut. But did she go to far?

Gage Graduates

Gage graduated from his first year of preschool last night! He was awarded the "entertainer" award! My mom asked, "is that a good thing?" I replied, "probably not!" It has been fun to see the things Gage has learned this year, he has a love for learning. I am grateful for that, well most days anyway, sometimes counting to 100 all day with him gets old. And now he wants me to help him count backwards from 100.

The best 4 years!

I could spend all day looking at pictures of you over the past 4 years Bubba Gage! You are a very photogenic thing! I still can't believe how chubby you were as a little baby! And how different from you Gavin looks! You have been the best thing in my life! You are so full of life! You mean the world to me! And as we always say, "we're all in this together!" Happy Birthday Gage! I love you!

Happy Birthday Gage!

Gage turned 4 on Monday! I can't believe that Gage is 4 years old! He is growing up so fast! I remember the first day of preschool, how I cried, and now he had his last day of preschool on his fourth birthday. Gage had a great birthday! He got a new bike, scooter and a fishing pole to go fishing with dad. We went on two bike rides and then Gage rode his new bike up and down the street for hours. When dad got off work we went to Chucky Cheese. Gage has been waiting months to go to Chucky Cheese's. I am just grateful that he doesn't like to eat there! He chose McDonald's instead! Then Grandma and Grandpa and Ashley came to visit and Gage got to eat his McQueen cake! But I think the best part of his day was when Dora the Explorer called Gage to wish him a happy birthday! He loved it! Thanks to Uncle Ty and Aunt Jill for letting Dora know it was his birthday!
Gage's birthday party has been postponed due to the crappy weather we will be having this weekend! So although his party will be two weeks after his birthday I guess it is better late than never!

Happy 8th Anniversay!

Hard to believe it has been eight years! It's crazy to think of all the things that have happened in the last eight years! Life is full of ups and downs! But we have to beautiful boys to show for it! Sorry this post is a day late, but it was a busy day yesterday! And I don't have any wedding pictures to post because with our new Windows Vista, nothing is compatible, including my scanner! Someone should have told me how lame Windows Vista is! We will be celebrating our anniversary tonight because Jeff had work and school yesterday! What's new?! I got to take Gavin to the doctors and give him more breathing treatments, eat Mac and Cheese for dinner, while Jeff goes to Paradise Cafe, without me! But I did get a new refrigerator for my anniversary! Thanks Jeff! Happy Anniversary!

Happy Mothers Day Mom!

MY MOM
I have to admit I have the best Mom ever!! She is funny, she is giving, she is humble, and she is loving! Best of all she is so fun to be around and a great friend! She is the best Grandma a grandchild could ask for! I am so lucky to have such a great mom! She sacrafices so much for her kids, even now that we are moved out of the house! She wakes up at 4:30 to drive to my house to babysit my kids! Who does that?

She is a total beach bum, just like myself!
She doesn't mind playing in the sand with her grandchildren, she is like a child herself!

She has the need for speed!!(or just a nice straight ride across the beach and then in a nice straight line right back! Just like the waverunner!!) Yet, she has no problem giving others less relaxing rides! My swimsuits have proof of it!
She loves her grandchildren, even if she has only grand boys!!
She has no problem acting goofy with the goofy family, even if it means putting her in a box, or shopping cart!
She loves her family enough to let them pile onto her bed!

She is always there waiting with open arms at the deliveries!!

Her grandchildren love her more than I think is possible to imagine!

She raised five kids and has made being a Mom and housewife look like the easiest thing in the world, but now that I am one I know that it is by far the hardest thing to do! How she did it so well and with such ease I don't know! I don't know how to take care of two kids let alone five! And I rely on my parents so much for help, yet she raised her kids without her Mother there to help! Mom you are amazing! Thank you for being you! Thank you for helping me with my kids, they love you so much! You are a great example to them! Thanks for babysitting, thanks for family dinners, thanks for being a shopping partner, thanks for being funny, thanks for being someone to talk to, thanks for serving others so diligently, thanks for Bear Lake trips, and hand and foot games, thanks for boat rides and laying out on the beach days, thanks for diet coke and pink cookie trips, thanks for rides in the convertible with the top down whistling at boys, thanks for attending every soccer game I think I ever played, thanks for being there during times of tears, thanks for the times you laugh so hard you pee, thanks for the times where we probably shouldn't sit next to each other at church, thank you for your testimony of the gospel, thank you for being my Mom! I love you!
