Pioneer Day Celebrations

Does anyone get the 24th of July off anymore? This year I had it off. We took the boys to the Days of '47 parade with my sister and parents. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves, eating lots of candy and running around. I must say I was not impressed with the parade. Then my Mom and I headed out for some shopping while Grandpa watched the boys. Then we let the boys run through the sprinklers "California style", wearing their aunt Ashley's T-shirts. We ate Popsicles. Then we met up with the rest of the family who had to work for dinner at Zuppas. yummy! I could eat there everyday, Jeff thinks we do!! Then we went to Maggie Moos for ice cream. Then we went to Cottonwood Heights fireworks! It was a fun day!!

There is a reason why he got the nickname BUBBA..

Gage had his 4 year check up today and he is still holding strong in the 90th percentiles!! I thought he had slimmed down, but I guess not....

He is a growing boy!!

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We went up to the lake. I didn't have my camera the first day, which I missed a lot of cute pictures!! Gavin fell asleep in the tube being pulled behind the boat!! Gavin LOVES the boat!! He loves riding in the tube behind the boat!! Gage could spend every waking moment playing on the beach! Gavin is still unsure about the beach!! We played on the beach, went boating, rode 4 wheelers, flew kites and played cards. Gage said he would try to water ski this year. He got his skis on and in the water and that is as far as he got. Mom is O.K with that. We had a fun time hanging out with my family! Thanks Mom and Dad. And thanks to Ashley for sleeping with my boys! And thanks to Jordan for being Gage's playmate, Grandpa is thankful too!!
