Holiday cheer

Well it has been another great week! We were able to finish our gingerbread house, we drove around to look at some lights, we made a snowman, we had some great parties. First I had a wonderful time at our relief society party!! It was very well done. And we had the ward family Christmas party that was FABULOUS!! It was the Grinch theme and we have some very talented people in our ward that made for a fun night! We are enjoying our Christmas Season very much and hope you are too!!

Here is Gage and Jeff having a snowball fight

Here is the Grinch party, my pictures didn't really turn out, put you get the idea of how fun it was! Gavin was completely scared to death of him. Gavin was literally shacking. And when Gavin went to the bathroom, the Grinch happened to be in there. Needless to say Gavin is afraid to go potty now. And he didn't want to go to church today because he didn't want to see the Grinch. So Bradley is finally off the hook for scaring Gavin at Halloween, because now all he can talk about is how afraid of the Grinch he is!

Here is more gingerbread making pictures:

Also, Kennady is learning to stand up by herself. It is hilarious because she thinks she is hilarious and she is so proud of herself!

The most wonderful time of the year...

We are enjoying our holiday season! We have read stories by the Christmas tree, we have watched the Grinch and Polar Express over and over again. We have been watching the Christmas shows on T.V. We have donated to charities, sung Christmas songs. We have kept up faithfully with the advent calendar, we have wrote our letters to Santa, we have done shopping and baking! (Gavin is addicted to fudge!). We have visited the elves at Gardner Village, we saw Santa vs. the snow man 3D (loved it! want to go again!), we drove through the lights at Thanksgiving Point, we have started our Gingerbread house (we are making that a 2 day project this year!) and we have dressed in our Christmas Church clothes! I love this time of year! I am going for the goal of no melt downs this year! I think I am on the right track! Merry Christmas!

Here we are decorating Gingerbread men

Letters to Santa
Gavin has been going to the potty all by himself here and there, so I bought him some underwear....the next time I saw him he had two pairs on his butt and one on his head!

When mommy is away the kids will play

Jeff is great with the kids when I have to work. They ride bikes around the lake or go play in the snow! He even remembers to take a picture now and then!

My girl at 9 months

I can't believe she is 9 months!! What a fun baby she has been!! She is crawling now! She lauhgs like a little lamb! She is getting a little bit of hair now and we hairspray it really well just to get a tiny bow in!

Trimming the tree

I would never think I would be saying this........we bought a fake tree! I never thought I would break down and do it! I love live trees. But I can't keep them alive! But to tell a little secret....I love my fake tree!!! It was a breeze! Pre-lit lighting. It took like 10 minutes to decorate! The kids had a blast and they didn't have to wait forever while Dad hung the lights! Why didn't I do this sooner?
