Cornbelly's and pumpkin carving....

We carved our pumpkins last night and when I say we, I mean Jeff. It is so hard when the kids are still too young to carve their own. They want to help so much. They got to pick out which design they wanted on their pumpkin and then watch Jeff go to work. Usually I love carving pumpkins, but this year I was not in the mood, I was sooooo tired and had a horrible day. So Jeff carved mine as well. Thanks Jeff! Needless to say, this is not the Decker's year for award winning jack-o-lanterns! (Gage's is suppose to be a bat hanging upside down, but it looks more like on odd face! :) )

This week we visited Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. The Maxfield's were able to come with us and we had a good time with them there! Thanks for coming with us guys! My kids always enjoy Cornbelly's and the nicest thing about this year is that is wasn't FREEZING!! It makes it a lot more enjoyable!

Bubble Baths

It has been such a long time since I took pictures of tub time. I have so many of Gage as a baby, but hardly any of Gavin. I accidentally poured too much bubble bath in the tub last night and the boys were loving it. I thought that might be a good time to take some pictures.

Monster of a Party

So while I was away at work on Saturday, Jeff took the boys to The Monster Block Party at the Gallivan Center (hosted by none other than my brother Ty). It sounds like the boys had a great time decorating pumpkins, trick or treating, getting tattoos, watching the pumpkin smash, pinatas, and sitting in a fire truck. Gage was really excited to tell me that Grandpa dressed up as an old man in a Utah hat! And that Grandma dressed up as herself. I could have guessed their costumes before he even told me! After the Halloween party they went to Parker's birthday Party! Happy birthday little guy! Sounds like the boys had fun weekend without me!

Yes and the pictures are minimal when Jeff is in charge.

Undecided....any suggestions?

So I hate politics and usually don't want anything to do with them. But this year I decided I had better educate myself and pay closer attention to the issues. I was disappoint Romney was not chosen as the republican candidate or VP. But that is no longer the issue. I have done every online quiz and watched the debates and I am still undecided. I agree with some issues on both sides, disagree with issues on both sides, and have no clue whether anyone has the right answer on some issues. So any persuasion from decent people would be helpful.

Fall leaves

We finally had a chance to take a drive up the canyons yesterday. I think we were too late for a lot of the red and orange leaves, but it was still pretty. We decided to stick around the west side of the valley and drove up Butterfield Canyon. I may be prejudice, but it is nothing compared to the Cottonwood Canyons that I am used to! The boys just love getting out and running around in the canyons. It was an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
