summer days

My kids love to spend summer days at the splash park. So we have headed over there a couple of times this summer.

too soon for socccer

We thought that Gavin would love playing soccer this year, but we were wrong! Even with his cousin Parker on his team, he didn't want to participate. The last game he actually went out on the field! Hey at least we made some progress!!!

take me out to the ball game

Gage played machine pitch baseball this Spring. His team did well. It was a lot funner to watch the last few games where they actually played by the rules and kept score. Gage was able to hit the ball a couple of times from the machine! Good job buddy!

A day out

A trip to Gardner Village......

zoo day in kindergarten

Gage choose to dress up as a tree frog for his classes zoo day! The kids were cute and Kennady LOVED the singing and costumes! We have loved Gage's teacher this year and are sad that kindergarten is over!

10 years later.....

Jeff and I have been married for 10 years now! Ten years later, we are poorer, have three kids, and couldn't ask for more! O.K we really could ask for more money, but that will come eventually, right?
For our 10 year anniversary we went to San Diego, our first trip alone since we've had kids! Crazy I know, but you know me....I am so anxious about leaving my kids. Not only for my kids sake, or my sake, but also for the babysitters sake!! I would like to thank all that made this trip possible...my sister-in laws mother in-law for letting us stay at her home, Grandma and Grandpa Decker for driving all the way up from California to babysit, Lacey and Jordan for babysitting and Ashley and Bradley for babysitting! It takes a village!!! The kids did great!!! They got to go to the fire station, wheeler farm, fly kites, go to baseball games, and for ice cream! Lucky kids! I must say I did great too, I missed them, but it was nice to have a break for a few days!!

Our little rental car....I like it....Jeff had me drive most of the time! I guess it is not masculine to drive a herbie!

We rented beach cruisers and rode bikes along the boardwalk! Loved it!

This beach had gold specks in the sand, it is hard to tell from this picture, but it was very cool!
We hit the gym, pool and beach everyday. We went shopping and to the spa!! It was nice break!

Gage turns 6!!

Yes I am just getting around to blogging about Gage's birthday in May, but better late than never!!
We went to Boondock's on his birthday!
Gavin and Gage riding the bumber boats!

Kennady and Grandma playing miniature golf.

Gage waking up in the morning, so excited to open his presents!

For the extended family party he chose a Thomas cake! I guess I didn't take any other pictures at the party!
Happy Birthday buddy!
