Backin' it up to October

Yes, I am that far behind.... so let's start with the many fun activities of October....the long awaited post. But I can't find one of my file folders so our trip to the Nebo loop will have to wait for another day.....

Let's start with trick or treating.....it was wet and cold.....I was only going to take Kennady to a about 4 or five houses, but she caught on real quick that candy was involved and did not want to go back home. It was very cute to watch the kids trick or treat this year! Especially Kennady. She could say "trick or treat" and "thank you" with out being prompted.

This year we wised up and had the kids paint there pumpkins instead of carve them...

and instead of carving I just drilled the crap out of mine...a lot funner and quicker




The kids get bored when Gage is at school and with the weather turning cold, we have done a lot of painting.



I spent the night at witches night out with my friend Beth.


Going to the pumpkin patch is a favorite activity for our family. And it was great weather!

milestones

Each of my kids have reached some milestones recently.....

Gavin not only is riding a bike with no training wheels, and is potty-trained, but he did it all in time to start pre-school. He is the little funny guy at our house. He LOVES preschool, we will see if he starts to care if he learns anything there!


Gage started 1st Grade. I don't think I ever see him anymore.....the minute he gets home he plays with friends until it is time to come home for the night. If he isn't playing with friends, he is playing soccer or karate.



Kennady has had her first haircut. Yes, I cut off her curls......they have come back, but I don't think they will stay for much longer.
